Job Summary

To meet this moment, we are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Data Entry Coordinator to ensure our CRM and revenue records remain accurate, timely, and actionable as our fundraising pipeline grows.

The Data Entry Coordinator will play a critical role in maintaining clean, consistent, and high-quality data across Salesforce and our shared revenue documentation systems. This contractor will assume essential weekly data entry and record-keeping tasks that currently limit staff capacity—freeing the Development Manager and senior team members to focus on automation, systems-building, revenue analysis, and strategic projects that directly contribute to GoodPower’s long-term growth.

This is an ideal role for someone with strong data hygiene skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience managing donor or customer data within a complex CRM environment, ideally Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

Weekly Responsibilities (Core)

  • Enter and update all gifts, grants, and batch donations (ActBlue, PayPal, Stripe, etc.) in Salesforce with speed and accuracy.
  • Process gift and grant acknowledgments for grassroots and low-level gifts.
  • Process gift forms, compile required attachments, and file completed documentation as a single PDF in the correct Finance and Development GDrive folders.
  • Enter new funder accounts and contacts; update donor records with communications, touchpoints, and submission history.
  • Update proposal and report deadlines, statuses, and related tasks in Salesforce.
  • Log donor interactions and assist with basic fundraising activity tracking.

Monthly Responsibilities

  • Conduct data hygiene checks to clean, standardize, and update Salesforce records.
  • Support donor list pulls, segmentation cleanup, and audits using our new LinkedIn data tool.
  • Update custom fields, tags, giving classifications, and segmentation lists in alignment with systems being built by the Development Manager.
  • Maintain and update RSVP lists for funder/partner briefings
  • Support maintenance of fundraising dashboards and key source reports in Salesforce.

Cross-Team Support

  • Collaborate with the Development Manager to identify recurring bottlenecks and opportunities to streamline data workflows.
  • Ensure timely communication around data inconsistencies, missing information, or needed record updates.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in nonprofit fundraising operations, data entry, CRM management, or a similar role requiring high-volume, high-accuracy data work.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other major CRMs (e.g. Raiser’s Edge, Virtuous, EveryAction).

  • Demonstrated ability to process repetitive tasks with speed, focus, and near-perfect accuracy.

  • Highly organized; able to track and manage many small tasks across multiple systems.

  • Strong communication skills and comfort working asynchronously with multiple team members.

  • Able to handle confidential donor information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
